How can I determine which files use the largest memory
My 500 GB SS drive is almost. I need to fine what has suddenly filled it so I can dump some.
How to I do this?

Here's what I would do:
Open Finder > File > New Smart Folder
You have the option of where to Search, for example: This Mac or "your home folder"
On the right hand side, under the toolbar, you'll want to click the + button
In the first drop down menu select other (if size is not available) and run a search for size
Once you have selected size in the first drop down menu, you are able to run searches for files that are equal to, less than, greater than, or is not a certain file size. You can search for example for files greater than 1 gb to maybe spot files that are taking up space.
The results will automatically populate.
