Q: Issues with app purchases across two iCloud accounts

Hi,

I am having issues with my two accounts that I have, there are purchases on both that I need and I only log in to the newer one. I didn't foresee this issue before signing up for the second account and I tried doing a couple of things but still no luck. I tried using the family sharing thing but still no luck, I think this is wrong because I paid for those purchases and I can't download them in the other account without logging out and back in which is now impossible from the new tightened security measures (which I appreciate). I hope I can find a way to fix this.

iCloud, iOS 8

The account that you are logged into in iCloud shouldn't impact the downloading of purchases, only the account that is logged into Settings > iTunes & App Store should do.

All content that you download from the store will be tied to the account that downloaded in, so only that account will be potentially be able to redownload its purchases. What problems are you having ? If the 90 day association (which has been around for at least 3 years) then you can try contacting iTunes Support and see if they will remove the association : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - but redownloading purchases from a different account is likely to start a 90 days association on that account instead.

Associating a device or computer : iTunes Store: Associating a device or computer to your Apple ID.

If that is the problem then do you not have copies of all of your downloads on your computer's iTunes library, or backup of your downloads/library, so that you can sync them instead of redownloading ?
