Q: Macbooks wont connect to Apple TV through Airplay, and neither will Home Sharing ?! Phones work fine though.

Recently I would say within the past week, I have realized the Airplay symbol hasnt showed up on my macbook. I tried all the solutions that people have posted that said fixed theres and still nothing. Ive tried, resetting the internet, updating both the macbooks and the apple tv's, I've restored the apple tv, I've plugged the apple tv in wired to the internet, I've turned off bluetooth and firewalls, I've also tried using AirParrot but still cant connect to the apple TV.

My iPhone connects just fine, its only my and my brothers Macbooks that dont connect. We have no idea what it could be, but if somebody has resolved this issue and its different from what I've already tried Im all in !
