Oct 18, 2014 12:08 AM in response to putnikby Kingoftypos,I can also confirm that the final public release is System Version: OS X 10.10 (14A389).
I just downloaded it and installed it. It only told me that I have Yosemite and asked if I was sure if I wanted to download it. I clicked yes and it went fine from there.
So prior to downloading it, I had System Version: OS X 10.10. (14A388b).

Oct 22, 2014 10:20 PM in response to brandonhayby NoEstoyRonco,I have the same issue here.
I trashed de Beta file from my apps folder, cleared the trash , restarted, log out and log in back from the App Store and still getting "OS X v10.10 is already installed on this computer. Use the Updates page to install the 10.10 update or if you would like to download the full OS X installer click Continue." But no continue button.
Does anyone have a fix for this?
Thanks in advance.

Oct 22, 2014 10:31 PM in response to NoEstoyRoncoby Kingoftypos,I just went to the App Store. Go to the Feature's tab and clicked on the download option for Yosemite.
When you do that, it'll just say "Would you like to continue? OS X v10.10 is already installed on this computer... blah blah blah." Just hit Continue and go from there as usual .

Oct 24, 2014 10:58 AM in response to David_Canadaby Kingoftypos,Go to the AppStore.
Click on Feature if it's not already showing.
Look for Yosemite, which should be the first item.
Click on Download.
Then click on the Continue button that appears from the top of the AppStore.

Oct 24, 2014 11:00 AM in response to Kingoftyposby David_Canada,When I do that, the popup that comes down has "Learn More" and "OK".
I repeat: there IS NO continue button for us, just these 2 buttons.

Oct 24, 2014 11:08 AM in response to David_Canadaby babowa,Well, if none of that helps and you can't download the full installer from the main page of the app store, then I'd suggest you contact Apple and/or check with the nearest Genius Bar. Unless someone here had the public beta, we can't duplicate your problem to test if there is a fix.

Oct 24, 2014 11:16 AM in response to Kingoftyposby Darklykoz,We had this question originally and was discussed and argued in depth...
We were not sure how to proceed...
However Apple later sent an email to all Beta testers adressing how you should proceed..
Basically it says you should download the official final release... Those are the instructions from apple now.

Oct 24, 2014 11:51 AM in response to David_Canadaby Kingoftypos,I've in the public beta since day one on two Mac Minis. A 2011 and a 2012. The 2012 was updated to the final release by the very same procedure that I mentioned. The 2011 has not been updated yet. So I just checked and the procedure worked.
I don't know if it makes a difference. But both Macs had the Beta 6 release. OS X 10.10 (14A388b)
If you don't have the Beta 6. Then go to the AppStore and Updates to see if it's there. It should've been installed on or about October 15/16.

Nov 3, 2014 12:07 PM in response to brandonhayby m.d.to,As david_canada said, I have the beta version and I want the official one, but if I click on download in the App Store it doesn't show me "Continue".
I have this version: 14A329r. In the upgrades App Store shows me the Yosemite beta 7 update. Shall I update it? I've tried to follow the instructions on the beta website, but when I restart the mac, it turns on the beta program. What should I do?
Thanks

This is, as I understood it from Apple, the final release. Correct me, please, if I am wrong.

When you open the AppStore. It should come up to the front page. On the left side there should be the Yosemite download. When you click on that, what shows up? Can you post a screen shot of what shows up?

Nov 4, 2014 12:17 AM in response to m.d.toby Kingoftypos,What happens when you press on "Learn More".
And when you go to the Purchases tab in the App Store. Is Yosemite listed there?
