Oct 24, 2014 3:13 PM in response to MattAndersnby Doc Williams,Thanks Audiomixer! I took the plunge -- trashed the iTunes app and manually downloaded iTunes again from Apple, installed it and everything is fine now. The App Store has recognised the installation and is no longer pestering me to update. Hope everyone gets their issues sorted soon.

Oct 28, 2014 1:44 PM in response to MattAndersnby Dorian%Gray,Just a quick reminder - on page 2 of this thread I listed the steps that resolved the issue completely for me. It never reappeared after that steps.
While some of the steps are not that easy and fast to reproduce (like total destruction of disk partitioning with 3d party tool and install from local media instead of internet), those who cannot afford that issue could just repeat my steps to resolve the issue completely.

Oct 29, 2014 2:19 AM in response to Dorian%Grayby Fofer,I'm sorry, but there is simply no way in "H - E - Double Hockey Sticks" that I'm going to try a complete system wipe and re-install of all of my apps, data and preferences... just to "try" and address this issue! This is a server-side thing that is on Apple to fix, and I'll wait on it!

Oct 30, 2014 10:56 AM in response to Foferby BobfromWC,I received an email from Apple today, which included the following, "Robert, after researching about the issue you are having I have found that Apple is currently working toward a resolution for the issue. You will receive an email after the matter has been investigated and further information is available."
If/when I receive a subsequent email on this accepting apps matter, I will post it here.

Oct 31, 2014 8:54 AM in response to BobfromWCby Edwin Alexanian,Dear All,
i have had the same issue with regards to 2 apps that needed accepting since upgrading to Yosemite (iPhoto and iMovie).
NOthing i I tried fixed the issue including uninstalling apps, fresh install of Yosemite etc..
long story short.. I spent a little time with Apple support via chat with an experienced support specialist working in conjunction with the development team investigating the issue. My issue is now fixed and the apps no longer require accepting - something to do with the adoption of the apps to your ID.
THey have a little more testing and investigating to do, but expect a fix very soon.
cheers, Edwin

Nov 2, 2014 1:32 AM in response to MattAndersnby kaschenkaa,Hi guys,
I have a similar issue with all six apps requiring acceptation. But even worse, I can't use them, because I don't even have them in my Mcbk Pro 13' after updating on Yosemite! I don't have the apps in my Purchase list (even if it tells so after accepting these apps), I can see them only in my Purchase History on iTunes... I made a clean installation I didn't have a backup. Do you think that this issue will be also fixed by Apple? Or is there any other way to get my apps back?

Nov 2, 2014 3:20 AM in response to kaschenkaaby kaschenkaa,I'm taking back, that I don't have these apps - based on previous installation I was able to download them from App Store. The problem with "These apps have already been accepted" remains, but hopefully will be fixed soon.

Nov 2, 2014 2:28 PM in response to ozsethby avpfilms2,Exact issue on both my wife's MBP and mine since Yosemite. 2 apps needing to be accepted. Tried both mine and my wife's, purchases showing clearly that we've purchased the apps. Between this and the multiple instances of shared computers available, hoping they can get update to yosemite rolling out to fix all this madness.

Nov 5, 2014 3:08 PM in response to MattAndersnby doraemoncito,Has anyone had any luck finding a permanent fix for the "You Have X Apps to Accept" issue?

Nov 5, 2014 7:54 PM in response to MattAndersnby youngjm,Apple appears to be updating the app store design. So for the Purchases tab and updates tab now look more like the style of iOS 8. It also looks like they have fixed this issue.....

Nov 5, 2014 10:07 PM in response to ozsethby BeebarbX,ozseth, your issue is different to the issue described in this entire topic, this topic is about a flaw in the 'Purchases' pane, where two or more apps already accepted, downloaded and installed are showing as 'to be accepted' in the 'Purchases' pane.
Your issue is a seperate and entirely different problem relating to the 'Updates' pane, and is solvable by user intervention. While I am not familiar with the process myself, as your issue has not occured for me, there is certainly at least one topic on this site that has the solution.
Please properly read what a topic is about before writing a reply.

Nov 5, 2014 11:26 PM in response to youngjmby Fofer,Yes, tonight I see a whole new design/aesthetic in the Purchases and Updates tab of the App Store. And yes, the top section that previously was telling me I needed to "accept" iPhoto and iMovie (and that would refuse when I clicked, telling me they were already accepted) is now gone. Huzzah!
