I had the same problem here but i think its working fine now (hopefully it'll continue like this),
the problem was in the network router itself, i just re-configure my adsl network and everything just fixed (thnx god)

Nov 20, 2014 11:20 PM in response to mattormondby SanttuM,I updated to 10.10.1 today, and instantly got wifi to drop gained IP and start looking for a new one. The rotation was about 10 seconds for whole thing.
Added new location, not sure if that made any difference, and them proceeded to remove my home wifi SSID from the list. Everything has worked flawlessly ever since. Didn't even need to give the SSID/psw again.

Nov 21, 2014 5:19 AM in response to SanttuMby BobbieERay,Same here. Since upgrading to yosemite my WiFi has been dropping on a constant basis. None of the suggestions mentioned in this thread nor the update to 10.10.1 has changed anything. I find it hard to believe that Apple isn't able to design an OS that can keep a stable WiFi connection. What the **** is going on?

Nov 22, 2014 2:39 PM in response to BobbieERayby BeachBelle,Have you found an answer to your problem yet? I have been having the same issue since upgrading. My wifi connection drops out every 5 minutes and I need to manually reconnect!!!! I don't even know how to report the issue to Apple because they wont talk to me because my service contact is expired and they want $20 to talk to them!
