Nov 26, 2014 5:58 AM in response to Trulsmanby PFJ30,Thanks Thomas: sadly I am in a far worse position than at any time since upgrading to 10.101.1: after waking up from the first sleep since carrying out the safe boot as advised to you my machine just refused to get beyond the fuzzy Yosemite screen; I had trouble logging in and then the most awfully slow everything. After a few minutes of the spinning beachball from **** I switched off and on.
I was at least able to log in reasonably easily but the speed is still n times worse than usual. Content of Mail messages take for ever to appear, Safari browsing is slow; now I know what all the poor sods have been experiencing this past week.
Ironically wifi connection is EASY!!!!
I am going to do some Utility heavy lifting and an SMC Controller reset; not sure why probably because I can and moving always beats sitting in a traffic jam....

Nov 26, 2014 6:12 AM in response to tomstephens89by torcano,Here is a suggestion for those of you on social media:
Make a concise list of all the issues surrounding Yosemite and the lack of response from Apple and post it. The more the better.
I'm going down a different path. As an Apple shareholder, I'm embarrassed and angered by this and will be contacting the shareholder relations manager. I've had some success with this approach with other companies, so we'll see. If any of you are Apple shareholders, I suggest that you do the same.

Nov 26, 2014 10:48 AM in response to Davnkazby sergiuszs,MY God, I have gone through every fix on this thread...absolutely nothing worked!
Same to me: deleting preferences files, changing network preferences, network locations, service order, PRAM reset, awdl0 down - nothing worked.
I have sent over a dozen diagnostic reports...
