Apr 8, 2015 5:58 PM in response to TRAILSLOTHby ausappleuser,Yep 10.10.3 is much worse here too. Mac is barely useable now. I've had to switch WiFi off and on about a dozen times since installing 10.10.3 half an hour ago.
This is BORKED.

Apr 8, 2015 6:12 PM in response to ausappleuserby TRAILSLOTH,Interesting
Fired up console.app as root.
In a terminal shell become root and did
discoveryutil loglevel Everything
I started seeing messages in my Console log saying "Add NameServer 192.168.xx.y to Penalty Box for 60s"
This is apparently discoveryd deliberately and silently refusing to use the name server on my wifi nat, when precisely the same name service works just fine on the wired interface. That's seriously jacked up. The really sick part is there doesn't appear to be any indication of what it objects to.
This explains why killall -9 discoveryd works for a while -- I get my queries resolved until discoveryd throws it's next hissy-fit.
Hey Apple, Can we have mDNSresponder back please?

Apr 9, 2015 5:31 AM in response to sweetciderby sweetcider,I decided to upgrade to 10.10.3 this morning. I'm happy to report that my wifi (which was working OK with 10.10.1) is still working fine, so at least 10.10.3 didn't break it.
I did have lots of wifi problems when I initially upgraded to Yosemite. What fixed it for me was updating the firmware on my Asus RT-N66U router. My router firmware hadn't been updated in a really long time. I did absolutely nothing on my mid-2012 15" retina MBP.
I strongly advise getting current on your router firmware before you try any of the suggestions in this forum. Of course, some people here are reporting problems with brand new Apple routers and laptops. I can only hope that 10.10.3 resolves things for you.

Apr 9, 2015 6:11 AM in response to sweetciderby RMNL,I'm unhappy to report that I didn't have any issues on 10.10.2, but after the upgrade to 10.10.3, my Wifi is barely usable. We have two MacBooks in our house. They have the same specs, the same age, the same location, the same Wifi settings. Mine which is on 10.10.3 gets a flaky connection with an average of 2Mbps, while the other which is still on 10.10.2 gets 75Mbps.
Wired is not a problem, we just remain a little short of our cap of 100Mbps.

Apr 9, 2015 9:17 AM in response to Sausalito99by Monty72,The more I think about this the more I'm convinced that this is a hardware issue with certain Broadcom chips that has been exacerbated by Yosemite.

Apr 9, 2015 9:28 AM in response to tomstephens89by UpTheVale1876,Having updated to 10.10.3 on my MacBook Air mid 2013 all of the wi-fi issues associated with 10.10.2 have now been fixed. No drop outs all day, under 10.10.2 it would drop out every few minutes. Also bluetooth seems more efficient, under 10.10.2 iTunes music played through bluetooth speakers would skip whilst web browsing - now fixed.
Result!

Apr 9, 2015 9:32 AM in response to UpTheVale1876by Huss417,Having seen both where 10.10.3 has worked for some and not for others I still haven't downloaded it. I guess its time to grab the bull by the horns and see what happens.

If you are having issues with a wired connection, you should look into your network side configuration. You will need wired working flawlessly first and then you can check if WiFi is working.
