Oct 22, 2014 5:57 PM in response to tomstephens89by live2playsoccer,Same problem here. Very frustrating. Can't even begin to do my college homework because wifi drops every other minute.
Quickly trying to post this before it drops again. Apple where are you? We could use a little help. As of right now, this "update"
is useless and has made my computer inoperable.

Oct 22, 2014 6:09 PM in response to tomstephens89by dj2819,My sister has the same problem. We have identical mid 2012 macbook pro 13 inch with the i7 and 8gb. Only difference is that I have a ssd. We updated to yosemite at the same time. Her wifi drops every few minutes but my wifi works perfectly anywhere. We use the same network. I think it is a software issue.

Oct 22, 2014 7:06 PM in response to tomstephens89by seemefirst,I had the same problem, turning off the Bluetooth and toggling the wifi clears the problem, but looking forward to have a fix from Apple.

Oct 22, 2014 7:08 PM in response to oneplutoby onepluto,So this is really strange, but if I have something streaming like netflix or pandora the the connection never drops. Stop the streaming and the issue reappears. This is nuts but it looks like a keep alive is losing its mind.

Oct 22, 2014 7:37 PM in response to Cr@ckyby rum.runner,I have an Ipad that I made the mistake of updating with IOS 8.0.1 and then the supposed fix 8.0.2. Having nothing but issues with the Update, extremely frustrating. With my Mac and my NEW MacBook Air, was told to update with Yosemite, was solid. Again another major mistake updating, WIFI only works for a couple of minutes and then drops my connection. Was told by the experts absolutely do not update my iPhone.
Asked Apple if I can down grade and there position is that it’s not possible. This has become an absolute joke and Apple does not seem to care!! Was looking at a iPad mini for business, was suggested look at Samsung.

Oct 22, 2014 7:49 PM in response to tomstephens89by drekce,Did anyone notice that this only started after the release of iOS 8.1? Yosemite worked fine all weekend, but after I installed 8.1 and paired my iPhone to the Mac for SMS the problems with Wifi began.
