Hi,

collego il mio nuovo iPad Air al PC Windows 7 64bit, il Device status di Apple Mobile Device USB Driver dice: 'Windows cannot initialize the device driver for this hardware. (Code 37)' e compare un triangolino giallo con punto esclamativo.

Ho disistallato e rinstallato iTunes aggiornandolo ed il problema persiste.... Chi mi puo aiutare???

I connect my new iPad to PC Air Windows 7 64bit, the Device status of Apple Mobile Device USB Driver says: 'Windows cannot initialize the device driver for this hardware. (Code 37)' and shows a yellow triangle with an exclamation point.

I uninstalled and rinstallato updating iTunes and the problem persists .... Who can help me ???

It sounds like you have uninstalled the iTunes application but still get this error code 37 indicating that the Apple Mobile Device driver will not initialize. I would recommend uninstalling not only iTunes, but it's associated softwares as well. There is a specific order to removing the components for a fresh clean install, and this article will help you do that step by step:



  1. Completely uninstall AMDS, iTunes, and all Apple software. Click the appropriate links below for steps:

    Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8

  2. Restart the computer.
  3. Download and install (or reinstall) the latest version of iTunes from www.apple.com/itunes. Installing iTunes will also install AMDS.
  4. Restart the computer.
  5. Start iTunes and connect the device. It should be recognized properly in Windows.
