Can't sync iPhone 6 with iTunes 12

Hi,

I just updated to iTunes 12 and now I can't sync my iPhone 6 with iTunes. I get na error that a TV show I purchased two years agao won't download (I don't care about that) but then It says I "don't have permission to make changes".

I am running iOS 8.0.2 on my phone, iTunes 12 and my Mac is running 10.7.5

Any ideas?

Hi Chris, I was having problems syncing my iPhone (via USB cable).
I Quit iTunes, replug the iPhone and cable.
The iPhone icon as you said earlier, will pop and sync.
