hi, i have a iphone 3 gs and i got it 3 years ago from USA via amazon.com and now my phone was locked.. how can I open it again please help me may be my phone was locked by AT&T... thank you

Is it not accepting a sim card from a carrier that is not AT&T?

ahh thank you i forgot that i dont share personal info... anyway i was wanted to update my phone but its closed actually i can open my phone but its not working its writing " iphone not activated " i called iphone call center they said me may be your phone company activated your phone again... and i bought this phone from USA but im using it in TURKEY and im not sure its unlocked from your company ( AT&T) are you sure that ?
Only AT&T (NOT Apple) can unlock your phone. You will need to contact AT&T
