how to block unknown and No caller id callers

You cannot do it on the phone. Your cellular carrier may be able to do it or may not, based on the following previous discussion: Blocking "No Caller ID" calls.

You can copy UNKNOWN and paste it into the blocked list -- no number typing needed.

i am running 8.3 and the blocked list only allows me to choose from contacts, there is no place to paste anything?

I know how to copy and paste on the computer but I don't see a way to do this on the iPhone. I got to recent calls and then what? Thx if you answer LoL

It's not possible to block unknown and 'blocked' caller ID calls on the phone itself. Contact your carrier. They may offer that service.

I searched copy and paste on iPhone and there is a way to do this. My 1st answer said go to recent calls. Use the copy feature. Copy unknown caller. Go to contacts and paste unknown caller. Now you can block.

Call blocking is based on the Caller ID string received from the carrier. If it is blank, "unknown", or "blocked", then you can't block the call on the phone.
