Bluetooth audio lag

Just updated (17th.Oct.2014) to OS X Yosemite. Im having trouble with bluetooth connection. There is an audio lag on my bluetooth headphone which progressively gets worse. Im using Sony DR-BTN 200. Is there a temporary solution until they fix it?

P.S. I found others with similar issues as well. Ive tried re-pairing the connection to no avail. Any help would be appreciated.

Im not using Time Capsule, so can't help, but if you tried removing the ethernet cable and simply used Wi-fi and it didn't work, then sadly I can't help. Im still amazed by the fact that I could get the bluetooth problem fixed by simply not using ethernet and only wifi (though after I got it to work with wifi, it now also works with a direct ethernet connection)

Bluetooth problems were only the beginning of a labyrinth of issues when I upgraded from Mavericks to Yosemite.

It was a month long problem that was a daily obstacle.

This was the worst I've ever seen Apple in terms of Quality Check.

Seriously, I know what bugs are and these issues were not bugs.

Serious problems in every area of my system.

I finally wiped out everything on my local hard drive, didn't use time machine and just replaced the late 2012 iMac with a clean copy of Yosemite.

Since then, about 2 days ago, only positive experiences, in that the computer is running Normal.

Its smooth, no memory leakage, CPU boosts or bad graphics.

No breadcrumb trail of fixes like turning off dash, turning off iCloud drive, etc..

if you're at your wits end, and have your stuff backed up in some fashion

I recommend it - the clean format and install.

I'm using my bluetooth headphones now and doesn't seem to be a problem with safari flash player (youtube), iTunes, and a VLC movie, all of them seem to be in sync.

It took me a month of headaches everyday to come to this point but I'm glad I did, it wiped out all the wild card exceptions in terms of what couldve gone wrong. I want a working computer. Now I have one.

everything seemed to be working until i played an online game while listening to iTunes.

the games audio quickly went out of sync. once i quit it and returned to the desktop bluetooth worked in sync again.

when i throw away trash, listen to iTunes and play an online game - it goes out of sync.

its a lot better - this was the only instance of noticeable audio lag - than before but still a bug.

with plugged-in headphones there is no issue.

just the online game and iTunes seems not to bother it.

this was the only instance of noticeable audio lag so far. you can hear the system hiccup as the sound blanks out for a millisecond but thats the amount of time the delay starts with. when you push the system more than it wants, bluetooth goes out of sync. but then goes back into sync when its at the level of work it likes. strange.

oh I'm on 10.10.1

so I just had a slight problem with a youtube video and you can hear the audio skip for a millisecond and theres when the delay occurs. this is after resetting the PRAM and restarting.

its like when a record skips, its that quick. the solution i found was to just select a different point on the videos timeline and it syncs back up again.

when iTunes audio was delaying slightly it seemed to realign itself as I pressed play/pause.

nothing half as bad as before but still a small bug.
