Nov 23, 2014 8:40 AM in response to ugofrompadovaby votecharlie,I'm sad but not surprised to report, after installing the update per ugofrompadova's instructions, I still have the same audio skippy problem. It surfaced immediately upon playing audio. I'm not sure yet if there is any improvement on how it was before, but after the first 10 minutes, it seems the same. Definitely not fixed.

Nov 23, 2014 9:32 AM in response to mommuby NickNico,Same problem. Endless fiddling with bluetooth bitpool preferences hasn't fixed anything. Resetting PRAM and SMC and combinations of all those efforts didn't fix it either.. In addition to the audio delay to my bluetooth speakers (Vizio sound bar), eventually there will be some terribly irritating popping and interrupting in the audio. The popping problem showed up sparsely before I upgraded to Lion, but now it happens much more often. Before upgrading, I chalked it up to limitations of bluetooth, now, I'm pretty sure it's an OS problem. This is a subpar level of performance this OS is displaying and I hope it gets patched soon.
15" Macbook Pro mid-2010
VIZIO S3821w-C0 38-inch 2.1 Home Theater Sound Bar
OS X 10.10.1
Irritation: vast

Nov 23, 2014 11:40 AM in response to mommuby Jslee14,I have to say, i'm really glad I found people that can relate to my problem. But I to have the same problem you guys are having and I have no solution. This happens randomly for me and while it doesn't happen all the time its quite annoying that this problem exists. I hope there is a patch REALLY SOON, but i'm not going to hold my breath on this one.

Nov 23, 2014 12:43 PM in response to Jslee14by kerrsom,I had the same prob with my soundbar. So I just bought a Lenovo Yoga and am never looking back to Apple.
Mac has been doing some shady things of late... updates that dont run ANY of my paid programs anymore and cause my battery to 'need service', incompatibility with other slightly older mac products, making my external that holds my time machine backups not work..
They have just turned to money-grubbing idiots. They had such a great product before... It's just turned to s*** now.

Nov 23, 2014 5:40 PM in response to AdiumXby Matthew Galvin,This fixed the problem for me completely, thank you! I run Better Touch Tool, and it doesn't seem to work properly with this update yet, so I had to disable it to have my multitouch gestures working, just incase anyone else has this issue.

Nov 25, 2014 5:06 AM in response to NickNicoby AdiumX,The update works for me 100%. And the Bluetooth-Bug seem to be fixed. I have not found a reason to return to 10.10.1.

Nov 25, 2014 7:59 AM in response to AdiumXby votecharlie,Out of those who updated to 10.10.2 and claim to have no problems now, are you by chance using any Bluetooth devices aside from the speakers? My speakers are possibly improved on 10.10.2, but still having issues… however, when I use my Bluetooth mouse in addition to the speakers, I get horrible skipping and cracking almost immediately.
