scrabble app problem connecting to Facebook

Did you check that the Scrabble app has been updated to be compatible with iOS 8? Have you asked the developer if others are reporting the same issue?

You can always try resetting your iPad by simultaneously pressing and holding the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons until you see the Apple Logo. This can take up to 15 seconds so be patient and don't release the buttons until the logo appears. Try again to see if the problem persists.

If that doesn't work, try Settings> General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. You will need to reenter your WiFi passwords and pair your Bluetooth devices again using this option.

I have the same problem and have tried everything you suggest still getting network error messages. Can connect to the regular facebook page out side of scrabble with no problem.

The problem lies with Scrabble and not your iPad or IOS 8 upgrade. For the last 5 days or so, many Scrabble fans have reported various problems with the Scrabble app on their devices. The network error refers to EA's network, not yours. Check EA's Scrabble website to learn more.

EA who are responsible for scrabble on Facebook are aware of the connection issue and are working on it. Go to the scrabble website and you can read about it. Evidently we just wait till they find a solution and post the update to fix this.

The problem has been resolved for folks with IOS 7 or later. Update your Scrabble app from the App Store.

My opponent has passed their turn. However, when I take my turn it says network error unable to connect to server! But I can still play with other people with this issue. It appears to be this one person. How have they done this?
