Problem with GOPRO files under Yosemite and iMovie

I just upgraded my iMac to Yosemite and iMovie 10.0.6.

iMovie converted my libraries upon start but GOPRO files are not supported anymore (unable to read them in imovie).

How can I solve that ?

Having the exact same issue and can't find a solution. Wish I didn't upgrade to Yosemite, many issues. I would warn anyone to stay away from it for awhile.
