Presonus Firestudio Tube no longer working after Yosemite install

After updating to Yosemite through the App Store, the Presonus Firestudio Tube that I have had connected to my Mac Pro (Early 2009) is no longer operational.

System Report recognizes the device, but the Firewire connection light on the interface doesn't "engage" blue, but instead flips between red and blue continuously and Sound in System Preferences nor Audio/MIDI Setup recognize the interface.

Presonus has made a statement that they're watching for problems, but hadn't seen any in the developer releases from what I can tell.

I've solved the issue by doing the following:

  • Download latest version of Universal Control from Presonus
  • Use the App in that disk image to uninstall the current Universal Control drivers.
  • Restart
  • Re-install Universal Control
  • Restart

Simply re-installing the Universal Control did not work, as it has for issues in the past.

Presonus is now saying this product is verified working for Yosemite.
