How do I get itunes 12.0.1.26 to download podcasts? I hate this.

This latest version of itunes is just an affirmation that the last several versions of this program seems to have been written to annoy the user. The changes have not made this pile of garbage any easier to use. Where is the download podcasts icon hidden for the love of God!
