FaceTime HD camera
Since the update to OS X Yosemite the FaceTime HD camera does not work anymore. In all applications (FaceTime.app, systempref\userprofile) comes the message, that no camera was found.
Can you help me?

Any solution? Same problem here.
If restarting Mac does not fix the trouble, see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2090.
Hello
Restart didn't help. I did (with help from Apple support hotline) the fallowing:
1. shut down MAC
2. removing all USB-cables (e.g. hard drives, devices, or else) from the MAC.
3. removing the power plug
4. waiting 10-20 seconds
5. with removed power plug up to ten times pushing the power button (nothing happens at all, because the power cable is not plugged in).
6. waiting 20 seconds
7. plugging all cables and the power plug.
8 . restart MAC and it works
The support hotline told me, that some condensators could have been the problem.
Now it is solved. Thank you for your time taken, to help me.

It didn't work... I am having this problem since yesterday after downloading some updating from App Store. I started to use Yosemite in August.
I am using a Macbook Air, if I press the power button it will restart it...
can you remove the battery?

Then use the final Troubleshooting suggestion: "... contact Apple or an Apple-Authorized Service Provider for service."
Unless you have a current backup, make one before tendering your Mac it for service.
Hi guys, thanks for your help... I am having this problem since last Friday, after downloading some updating from App Store. I started to use Yosemite in August. I will try the procedures again. If they don't work, I am going to contact Apple.
