How do I engage the F keys on a Mac?
How do I make the F keys on my Mac work? For example, I need F11 and when I click on it, all I get is the volume increaser.
MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Mavericks (10.9)
Keyboard System preferences, Check the box to set all F1, F2... as function keys.
You’ll then need to hold down fn + FKey to get the soft functions like Volume.
