I tried software update for my 2nd generation Apple TV several times even resorting to Restart and Reset without success.Each time download worked but installation failed.What should I do?

SSoftware update for my 2nd generation Apple TV fails.Download works but installation fails.I even tried Reset and Restart.

WHat should I do? Help! What is the latest version of iOS can be used for 2nd generation?
