HTML5 in Netflix on MacBook Pro 7.1

Hey guys,

Today, I finally updated my old mid 2010 MacBook Pro (7.1) to Yosemite.

I was really looking forward to watch Netflix without the horrible Silverlight plug in, but unfortunately the Safari Browser still tells me to install Silverlight.

I already checked the settings on Netflix and I activated the HTML5 player.

The funny thing is though that I can watch Netflix with HTML5 with the new Chrome Beta Browser.

My question is why I can use HTML5 on Netflix with the Chrome Beta but not with Safari 8.

Thank you,

Sebstian
