Added Desktop every Yosemite startup

Hello.

I have an iMac 21,5 (late 2013). I'm using Yosemite now.

I have connected an external 21 inch display as an extended display.

Every time that I turn on the imac with Yosemite, it adds a new desktop to the Mission Control window... any ideas?

I have had the same issue. In addition, any multiple desktops I have on a second monitor are consolidated into one, the others migrated to the primary monitor, AND the added desktop on the primary. Have been searching for similar questions. Have you received an explanation?

This issue was resolve with the El Capitan update. At least for me.
