How can I delete Bing as a search engine?

I want to delete Bing as a go-to search engine. I have Google selected.

iMac, OS X Yosemite (10.10)

In Safari go to Safari's Search preference pane and select whichever search engine you'd like.

For Spotlight go to the System/Spotlight preference pane and under Search Results uncheck the Bing Web Searches checkbox.

I had already completed your first suggestion, but problem was solved for Safari after your second suggestion. I had to go into Firefox and use their suggestions to delete Bing from Firefox. Thanks!
