Q: What is the difference between iCloud and iCloudDrive

In pages my files were saved to iCloud but there was an option for iCloudDrive and I would like to know the difference

    iCloud Drive has some pre-set folders that can't be removed.  If you select the option to save to "Pages - iCloud", that saves into the Pages folder on iCloud drive.  If you select just "iCloud Drive", that saves it outside of a folder.

     

    To see this more clearly, log into icloud.com and have a look.
