Update needed everytime i restart my Mac Book Pro

After upgrading to Yosemite, everytime i restart my mac, a gray screen appers with an unknown user and the message "update needed'. It will ask me to introduce my password to proceed.

Then it will take several minute to login

Try change your user profile pic to a default one and restart, the name should be back to normal.

For the loading bar, Apple said it is normal because the spinning gear was replaced by this.

I had this same problem which began for me when I turned on FileVault under System Preferences (Security and Privacy). As soon as I turned it off again (i.e decrypted the disk) it went away.

I had the exact same problem. It's the file vault. I just got back from the Genius Bar. They turned off my file vault and problem solved. Decrypting the disk can take several hours and the process should not be interrupted, acc. to the Genuis.

Yep , exactly the same problem here and the same solution too .. why does this happen ? can we not use file vault with out this happening
