Hallo, I need help. I am trying to remove Offers4us from my mac, on Chrome. I receive plenty of annoying popup with offers. Can somebody help? Thanks

Thank you very much, unfortunately the instructions are not so clear for me, I am trying to figure out what they suggest, but my english is not so good and I cannot understand what ‘Customize and Control Google Chrome’ menu > ‘Options’ > ‘Under the Hood’ > ‘Reset to Defaults’ button means in the italian translation 😟

I've been using Safari and just started having that annoying "powered by offers4u" pop up. I went to Safari/Preferences/Extensions and removed a shopping/deals extension (don't remember the name) that I did not install. That seems to have done the trick! I haven't used Chrome, so I'm not sure of the path you would use.
thank you. I will keep in mind your advice, in case Safari starts to send pop ups. I seem to have solved the problem with Chrome uninstalling it and installing it again.
