Can't Do That While Driving

I have an iPhone 5 with the latest version of IOS 8. I have a pioneer head unit in my vehicle. My goal is when I push and hold the Bluetooth button on my phone, Siri comes on and I can ask to open Slacker Radio or Pandora Radio and have the music play.

This goal cannot be accomplished because Siri then reports back to me, "I'm sorry, I can't do that while driving" Very ironic that the phone is trying to prevent me from using it while driving, but at the same time forcing me to look at it while driving, which is the very thing I'm trying to avoid by using Bluetooth hands free.

This is the reason I may be switching to Android. Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, is there any bypass to this?

As a matter of fact there is. You put your hand on the radio and tune it....been doing it for decades. 😁

Because it always amuses me when people think their threat of moving to Android is going to somehow make a difference. If you want to give feedback to Apple about features you'd like to see then contact them. This is a user to user forum.
