Apple TV not linking to Laptop or Phone

My Apple TV won't connect to my Mac or my Phone.

When trying to connect to my Mac it won't let me disconnect manually I have to wait until the error message 'unable to connect' comes up.

With my phone I can manually disconnect.

I don't think it's my internet as I can still access Netflix etc on Apple TV.

My Mac's software is up to date. IPhone 5s doesn't have up to date software as i don't have enough room for it. And finally my Apple TV is also up to date.

Any help would be much appreciated as i'm not at home after today for about a week so cannot contact Apple until then.
