Have you considered the new Quicken for Mac?

According to numerous reviews of Quicken 2015 for Mac it is really an updated version of the generally loathed Quicken Essentials for Mac and not of the more robust Quicken 2007 for Mac.
If Quicken Essentials is the product desired, then, yes, the 2015 version would be the most updated one available.
But compared to the OP's use of Quicken for Windows, I would expect that he would be terribly disappointed with using Quicken Essentials over Quicken 2007 for Mac.
It is unfortunate that Intuit chose to mislead the public with the use of these tradenames interchangeably, but Intuit has a long history of poor service towards the Macintosh portion of its Quicken user base.
