Yosemite installed, but not recognised by iCloud Drive

Same thing has happened to me. I upgraded my 2013 21" iMac to Yosemite then tried to turn on iCloud Drive. It kept spinning for days so I logged out of iCloud, restarted my computer, and logged back in to iCloud. When I went to check the box it said OS X Yosemite is required and my iMac will not be able to access the documents. Anyone else having iCloud not recognize the computer?
Same problem here. MacBook Pro, MacBook Pro (17-inch, Early 2009). Suggestion I found elsewhere was to run permissions fix, but still nothing.
