Why is Siri still so terrible?

Try to be a bit more specific with Siri at first. Over time it will learn about you and adapt. For now if you want to search the web just say: "Search the web for..."

I've never experienced Siri being rude. While I've experienced some connection problems, that was not a Siri issue but my own internet issue. The worse I could say given my experience would be somewhat difficult at times, but never awful.

I rarely have trouble with Siri, except when the network connection is bad. And one can hardly blame that on Siri.

But do you have an actual technical support question? Or did you just register for this forum so you could dredge up this thread that had been dormant for almost a year because......, well, I can't think of a good reason.

Google regularly beats Siris in vocal searches. I wish that weren't true.

No, I completely understood the fact that you were dredging up a year old thread. I completely understand that it was, to you, ok for the OP to rant but not for gdgmacguy to call someone on being rude (even though it was okay for you to do that).

And, I still generally find Siri works better for me than Google Now. Yes, I also haven an Android phone.

That is a matter of opinion. And, as telling people, publicly that they are rude is rude, I'd say at the very least it's pot and kettle.

We're users here not Apple. You do realize you just make yourself look foolish when you ask questions that can't possibly be answered by a forum of USERs.

@ChrisJ4203 I never said Siri was rude. Read the post carefully. I said in response from gdgmacguy - the response was rude and unhelpful. In addition Siris is regularly unhelpful.

Opinion, as well as the way that you constructed your response. While you may find it unhelpful, there are many that find it very helpful.

The OP was not rude, the OP was talking about disappointment with an app. gdgmacguy was rude to a person. That is what I pointed out.
