itunes 12 sync won't complete

I have the same problem but with an iPad Air, my iPhone 5 is fine!

BTW I'm using a brand new iMac, so there should be no issues here!

I have the same problem with iPhone 6 Plus, iTunes 12.0.1.26 and Yosemite.

Having the same issue:

iPhone 5s

iOS 8.0.2

iTunes 12.0.1.126

Windows 7

Has anyone any suggestions for workarounds?

I'VE FOUND A SOLUTION, let your iPhone or iPad go completely dead, then plug into Mac and wait for a while, passed the black screen with the whie Apple until its back! Then try syncing! It worked for me, nothing else did. I was getting all these errors and Apple Support did not help!

I found a situation where sync will complete, sometimes.

While I was looking at apps I have installed, I noticed a few I didn't need anymore. I deleted them from the phone. Sync still didn't end, even though iTunes showed them as uninstalled. I then went in to iTunes and deleted the apps. At this point sync will work sometimes. Still working on isolating the exact condition when it will complete the sync.
