Oct 31, 2014 1:44 PM in response to mediahoundby Eric Root,Send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem solved sooner.

Nov 8, 2014 2:52 AM in response to James Brustby Gian Marco Cinalli,I've bypassed this problem by following the instructions in this post: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/300072-wake-reason-rtc-alarm-how-to-deact ivate/page-5#entry2080144, note that this is only a workaround, so I also sent a feedback to Apple to definitely fix this bug.
Hope that helps.
Cheers!

Good workaround.
"instructions in this post: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/300072-wake-reason-rtc-alarm-how-to-deact ivate/page-5#entry2080144"
It's work.
I hope Apple will fix it in a future too.

Nov 17, 2014 7:01 PM in response to juripotby Matthew Wilson5,Still happens with 10.10.1 - despite mention of discoveryd in the notes
Guess it's time to give the workaround a go as I'm fed up of shutting down everyday.
-
Nov 17, 2014 7:33 PM in response to Matthew Wilson5by James Brust,I didn't see any mention of discoveryd in the notes...can you point me to it?
I just updated 10.10.1 and have not had time to see if it has had any effect, but I believe you. Obviously this is not high on Apple's priority list.

Nov 17, 2014 9:25 PM in response to Matthew Wilson5by mediahound,Yeah, definitely not fixed in the 10.10.1 update today.
What a shame.

Nov 18, 2014 6:56 AM in response to mediahoundby mediahound,Although, I will say it doesn't seem to be waking as often as before after the 10.10.1 update.

Nov 18, 2014 6:03 PM in response to mediahoundby Wai Lam,Seem the problem still exist in 10.10.1. But found that the monitor will not light up when weak.

Nov 18, 2014 9:55 PM in response to James Brustby Randy TM,Yup. I sleep with my MacPro early 2008 and it still pops on at night even after 10.10.1 update. Happens less now I think (or I am just getting accustom to it) . Screens do not come on now either so that's progress I guess. Goes back to sleep 15 seconds later but it isn't helping my sleep any... lol.

Nov 19, 2014 7:22 AM in response to Randy TMby mediahound,How do we report bugs to Apple? It's insane that Apple has not fixed this.
