How to get tethering via iPad Cellular to MBP?

Hello

I know Apple has changed the way we had tethering using a Cellular iPad via USB for example.

Now the first thing I noticed was this.

I used to have internet while outdoors on my MBP via iPad's USB tethering feature.

I know Apple proposes a new way of doing this, and has even given it a new name that I don't recall now.

Long story short, I have tried many ways of connecting via bluetooth and it does NOT work.

Any ideas on how to get internet on my MBP retina via iPad's 3G cellular network?

thanks a lot for your help.

I found out a solution, finally !

The thing is that the iOS upgrade just reorganized the way it works.

Now I just have to enter the APN setting onto the hotspot APN settings, that is below the Cellular APN settings.

Once i entered the same APN setting for the cellular APN, it started working just as it did before the upgrade.

🙂

8 months to figure this out.....
