Is it OK to use CleanMyMac 2

Just upgraded to Yosemite, running fine but curious about installing Clean My Mac 2. Appreciate any comments. I have used Version 1 a few times with no apparent problems but do I really need, or any other suggestions...? I have the 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5 with 4 GB of memory and thinking since I have no plans to get a new iMac, I might as well get another 4 Gigs. I do run EtreCheck from time to time and everything is perfect except for its reference to my old version of Microsoft Word. Thanks, Bill

It is always advisable to check the Release Notes of apps, before trying to run them on a new OS. According to Roaring Apps, this app is ready for Yosemite.

However, Yosemite uses memory compression and other changes to memory management from previous OS's and so, using such cleanup software may actually slow down your computer.
