Dec 30, 2014 6:05 PM in response to f0000by ramos86,I was attempting a clean install using a USB flash drive. Setting the correct date fixed the issue. Also, if you just type date in the terminal, it will give you the current date. My computer thought it was 2001.

Jan 14, 2015 2:12 PM in response to AG70by edtol,Hi all. Could someone please list the steps in how to make this install work, in reference to the success with "Setting the time/date"?
I currently have OS 10.9.5 on a Mid 2010 Mac Mini and have repeatedly failed in upgrading to Yosemite with the error:
"This copy of the install OS X Yosemite application can't be verified. It may have been corrupted or tampered with during downloading"

Jan 18, 2015 4:37 PM in response to edtolby edtol,SOLVED!!!
Removed upgrade RAMs and reinstalled OEMs. Updated OS 10.9.5 to Yosemite with no issues.
Re-installed upgrade RAMs and now works!

Jan 20, 2015 7:40 AM in response to AG70by Don_dummy,Just try this:
"
This is a date issue – I just resolved it after a day of messing about – is very simple.
When the boot screen opens click on utilities at the Top and then click on Terminal.
Then follow the date instructions here: https://bensmann.no/changing-system-date-from-terminal-os-x-recovery/

Feb 13, 2015 12:41 PM in response to AG70by bigrustyjc,The suggestion that others in this thread have had of setting the time worked great. Going into terminal and setting the current date worked perfectly for me. I did NOT have to reinstall the original RAM in the machine.
