Q: What is still missing in latest Pages 5.5

Has anyone put a list together of the features still missing in this latest Pages 5.5 upgrade that just came out this month with Yosemite.

I'm still using Pages 4.3 but would like to see if this new 5.5 has most of the features it broke in the upgrade.

Thanks for any links to this list.

Sure they can !  Print it out on your printer, take a picture  of the page with your iPhone and send the photo.

Feeble attempts at humour aside, thanks for your efforts and perspective on this issue.

I'm sticking with a  ML machine and '09 so I can get work done.

I use my newer machine ( Yosemite) as my home surfing/iphone dock station  and rage daily about the transparency of Yosemite, ibook converting OS formats to proprietary formats etc.

iWork '09 works as it always has in Yosemite (& Mavericks) as long as you have updated to 9.3. You can download the standalone updater from this page.

There used to be a way to view a list in the sidebar of every instance of a certain word or phrase in a document. Did that capability disappear too?

Pages '09 v4.3 is not hiding inside any release of Pages v5. That old search function was never added to the new application. There are more features missing than present. Continue to use Pages '09 v4.3.

Go to some of the one-star ratings for the new Pages in the App store for a few lists of what it still does NOT have. So tired of Apple spitting in the face of power users.  Basically getting tired of Apple, period.

As long as the hordes of sheeple keep coughing up for Apple products, can't see them improving.

As far as I can see, still no sign of Outline view in Pages 5 even after the October 2015 updates.

Just hate it when they remove functionality.

Fatal error for me — I can't even think about upgrading until they add outlining back in.  I have too many files that require it to be useful.  It's been too long.  Thinking about Word…
