My Addictive Keys add on with all my keyboard sounds doesn't work with Garage Band but works with LOGIC.
I really want to use it with garage band. but it says it can't be loaded and needs to be updated. I contacted Addictive Keys and they said it is a problem on Garage Bands end of things. Any solutions??

I just tested this on Garageband 10.0.3 and you are correct. AD Keys does not work however AD does. Both work in Logic Pro X 10.0.7 on Yosemite 10.10. It could have something to do with 64 Bit vs 32 Bit.
thanks...yes, they said i was a change on Apple's side..i just wish there was a way i could use AD Keys with garage band!
I personally use Logic Pro X but a few people I collaborate with use Garageband. However the GB users I work with do not have any Additional Plug-ins. One way to get around it is to play the ADKeys part in Logic then bounce the track to audio and import it into GB. Make sure the Logic project is @ 44.1 first.
Awesome. Yeah, I should use logic, but I'm just a beginner, so really like garage band.
So if I bounce it @44.1 and input it as wav file into garage band it will still maintain the great sound?
Select the Sample Rate of 44.1 kHz before you start your Empty LPX project. Also Logic can be set up to mimic Garageband. You can use as much or as little of it as you want. After awhile you will soon find out how powerful LPX is and how much editing control you have. There is a book I recommend you purchase from David Nahmani. Hi mdee, I am unable to get AD 2 running under Garagband 10.0.3 on Yosemite - the error message is below. Do you have any details on how you successfully got it running? Cheers.
I do not have AD2 so the only advice I can give is to make sure you've done all of your updates first. You now have an Instrument Plug-ins drop down Menu inside the latest version of Garageband. Reading over the Support Page for AD2 Garageband is not officially listed.

Just do the update of addictive drums 2 with the XLN Online install software. It works very well with Garageband, no problem.
