Is anyone having problems with Dictation in Yosemite?

I downloaded Yosemite, and have downloaded the Dictation update, but now it seems that dictation is not working and is continually capitalizing words as I dictate, causing more issues.

Hi,

I have just bought a new Macbook Pro and put Office for Mac 2011 on it - problem in Word solved. Having written to Apple as suggested in an earlier post but getting no reply it would be nice if Apple could fix the bug that means my copy of Office 2008 on my home Imac and Office 2010 on my work Imac have enhanced dictation without any issues. But I am a realist.

Just got off line with Apple support. My problem was similar as i could not use the dictation feature. Come to find out my problem was with the Webroot antivirus not allowing it. I had to go to the Webroot logo enter then Pause secure keyboard entry. Dictation back up and running well. Third party AV software causes lots of problems with Apples.

I have been having the same problem in LibreOffice. I have to say [spacebar] to get it to insert a space between two phrases, or a space before corrections. I have tried saying [no caps] to get it to stop capitalizing everything, but the [effect] is for it to insert "no" before capitalizing the next word.

I bought a new microphone, to try to improve word recognition, but sometimes it insists on putting in the wrong word again and again and again. Like with either capital A or hey for [a], affect for [effect], Matt for [map], etc.

I think it would help if dictation supported a wider variety of languages, and a wider variety of dialects of English.
