Finder remains empty after installing Yosemite

I upgraded my MBP (2013) to Yosemite and now every second Finder window I open remains empty. I can switch between Applications, Documents or Desktop but I still can't see any symbol. If I close it and start a new window and I'm lucky everything works. But sometimes

I get a window where I can see the symbols (with boldly written names) but cannot scroll or move symbols.

After upgrading I reinstalled Yosemite and then afterwards made a new clean installation but I still got the same Problem..

Here is what the Console app says:

Hi

I have a Late 2013 retina MacBook Pro, and i've the same issue than you... I don't really know from where it comes from...

Do you have a third party software to browse external device in NTFS format such an external hard drive?

I have a path to explore since i noticed this bug the first time i tried to browse my external hdd.

Here is a screenshot of the bug :

User uploaded file

Or when i browse local ssd (where Yosemite is installed) i got a blank folder...

I got graphic glitches when entering Time Machine for exemple.

I'm using the last version of Tuxera NTFS (trial version) supporting Yosemite...

I've no problem so far with Mavericks which is working flawlessly...

My install of Yosemite is a clean install without any third party software/drivers, the problem is here with or without Tuxera NTFS installed. I did two clean install in the passt two days.

Many thanks if Apple could do something for this bug.

I did an Apple Diagnostic and there is no mistake with the hardware according to the result.

Hi,

Have exactly the same problem as you wrote above.

- Finder shows empty files

- Shows bolt font

- Shows even under the files where the text name is completely a black bar instead of text

- USB stick seems to be empty as well. Re-open finder page and select from the the usb drive helps then to see the content.

Really annoying

Waiting for solution...

That sounds interesting. The bug occurs in the majority of cases when I use Lightroom ("Show file in Finder") to access files on an external HDD.

Then it mostly looks like on the first screenshot from Mad_noob or the folder is empty.

But even without using an external HDD I sometimes have an empty Application or Utilities folder.

Where exactly can I change the display-mode?

Ah, thanks. I already figured out that it helps to change the mode (I thought presentation mode is something different :). But for viewing pictures I usually prefer the symbol-mode..

I've made a clean install too without any effect regarding that bug. But I think it's occuring more often using an external HDD.

Hopefully they're fixing it soon

edit: But I wonder whats the reason of that bug. Because I got this even with a clean install and the majority of users don't have that problem.
