Q: safari iOS 8.1 freeze and slow

Hello,

i have same problems with ios 8.1 with my Ipad3. when the Google search shows me the results, the blue links does not respond when I  tap. Safari was as if frozen. I have to drag the page up or down so that the link becomes active again. Further the application is very slow. Today I tried iPad Air it was same thing !!!!

 

the problem persists since updating iOS8.0.0. I am very disappointed with Apple.

    I fixed mine by going to settings/general/reset/reset all settings.

    Try going to Settings/General/Reset/Reset All Settings...I was having all the same problems with 8.1, but working fine now after reset all settings.

    Well ... I can't help it if you didn't like the solution I been giving other users who have had success. One can lead a horse to water but can't make him drink ... so ... take it or leave it ... :-) ...

    If you don't like the solution that I've been giving others ... and doing so for weeks, including this same thread, days ago ... that's your loss and your problem. Some people are just a permanent lost cause.

     

    At least a lot of other users have had good success from it.

    That's biggest problem with complainers ... they are complaining so much, they never listen to the solutions that are given to them.

     

    This is not a complaint forum ... it's a solutions forum.

    The more people report issues, with more detail, the more likely the press will cover it, the more likely Apple will prioritize fixes, the better for Apple as well as users.

     

    As a developer, I want Apple to fix these issues because I want my apps to be more stable. I want Apple to be more successful.

    There's no problem in this forum, for users to post a problem, seeking a solution they can implement from another user. That's precisely what this forum is for.

     

    What it's not for (and is against the terms of use) is complaining against Apple about policies, procedures, imagined slights, imaginary conspiracy theories, and anything that is not related to simply getting a solution from another user that they can implement on their own.

     

    AND ... if the poster finds no solution here, then that's not a cue for rants or "statements to Apple" ... that's a cue to move to Apple Support, which is not in this forum.

     

    NOW ... if people do what the forum is intended for, I think that's great. If they want to contact the press themselves, I think that's great, too.
