Nov 15, 2014 10:11 AM in response to Star Travelerby kajjal,Unfortunately it seems you can only post by gloating and being sarcastic which is very unfortunate and gives the Apple brand a reputation it does not need.
Suprisingly the Apple moderators on here appear to see nothing wrong with it.

I can see what the error in your logic is ... you seem to think I'm related to Apple. I'm not. I hope that solves your problem.

Nov 15, 2014 10:41 AM in response to Star Travelerby kajjal,It is very unlikely a large brand like Apple that bases its brand on quality and customer service would use sarcasm and gloating to communicate with frustrated customers or allow anyone else to do it in its name.

Nov 15, 2014 11:13 AM in response to Star Travelerby kajjal,I did not ask any question, just made an observation that I was surprised Apple would allow gloating ,sarcastic posts continually made to their customers who are currently experiencing frustration with their Apple devices.

I'm actually surprised the moderators here actually allow as much OFF-TOPIC posts and rants that they do ... which are not (1) solution requested and (2) solution given.
SInce I answer the OFF-TOPIC posts here on this forum ... in the like manner ... as someone even posting it here in the wrong place in the first place -- I therefore expect to see their OFF-TOPIC posts deleted at any time, as much as I expect my off-topic answers to their off-topic posts to be deleted ... :-) ...

Try ignoring the posting of off-topic subjects ... that's even more rewarding ... :-) ...
In case anyone is wondering WHAT is "on topic" for this forum ... very simply it's one of TWO KINDS of posts ... (1) a user posts a request for a solution to a particular problem, or (2) a user posts the solution to a problem that a user can inplement by himself on his iPad. That's it ... and no rants about Apple, Apple policies, Apple business, speculation about why Apple is doing this or that ... anyway, you get the idea!

Nov 15, 2014 1:44 PM in response to momolorientby bre bro,I've been upgraded to the newest IOS 8 for a while on my ipad3 but haven't noticed the keyboard lag or especially the freezing problem until today for some reason. I had a whole paragraph of text typed and then the screen just froze, which I had never experienced on an iPad before. Now it is happening more frequently and I hope I can finish typing this before it does.
I will give Apple credit for making iPads with strong glass, though. The amount of times I have banged the screen with my fist out of rage and frustration should have shattered it a long time ago, but it is still intact!

I sure hope you're kidding here, about how the glass face of your iPad has been treated ... :-) ... because even if it hasn't cracked, that kind of thing can cause problems with something inside your iPad.

You know ... there's a thread here on this forum for solving a dead and black iPad by pounding on the back of it! No joke, it's helped a lot of people. BUT ... what I think is that if you can go from a dead iPad to a working one by pounding on it ... then you can ALSO go from a working iPad to a dead one by pounding on it ... :-) ...

Nov 15, 2014 2:11 PM in response to momolorientby Edsel,I'm just lodging my complaint about Safari freezing & spinning beachballs on my iPad Air 2 and my late 2013 Mac Book Pro. I've had this problem for at least three weeks. My OS is current on both devices and I use only downloaded software from the App store.
I hope Apple fixes this soon. As a former 20 year Microsoft user, these problems are reminding me why I abandoned Windows eleven years ago.

Apple is NOT HERE on this forum but ONLY iPad users ... therefore they can do nothing about your "complaint". The people here are only "users helping other users" who ask for a solution to a problem, while another user gives a solution to that problem, which the user can implement themself. The Terms of Use here doesn't allow talking about Apple, to Apple or discussing policies or procedures about Apple or specipulation on the same.
When someone does want to say something to Apple, Apple has a spot for you to do so ...

On the other hand, if you want some solutions from Apple, Apple has excellent support. Head on over to Apple Support ...
Apple Support
Apple Retail Store - Genius Bar

... my late 2013 Mac Book Pro.
Head on over to the following forum for that. It has a different operating system and different apps ... and problems with this do NOT correlate to any problems with the iPad.
I hope Apple fixes this soon.
Keep in mind here, that many users on this forum have been able to find solutions for their problems. Those kinds of fixes would never be "fixed" by something Apple adjusts on their software, because they were clearly unrelated. The only way someone is able to know that is by trying the solutions offered here -OR- go to Apple Support and see if they do the same as other users here do, with those solutions. It may not even be related to a "fix" by Apple.
