YHOO Mail - weird error

Hi,
My friend uses YHOO as his only email account. He subscibes to the Mail Plus subscription which allows POP access so that he can retrieve messages via a Treo. Recently, I helped him set-up an account in Mail so that he can access his email directly without logging into Yahoo.com. He has a new MacBook Pro and everything worked great for about 2 weeks.

Now, everytime he goes into Mail to access his YHOO account or even tries sending new messages, files or documents through iPhoto, etc, Mail generates the following error:

"This message could not be delivered and will remain in your Outbox until it can be delivered."

I deleted the account in Mail three times and reconfigured it successfully with the appropriate POP, server information. However, this error still persists.

Any thoughts? Thank you.

Hi sgrubman.

Mail Help has some articles devoted to sending problems, e.g. "I can't send email" or "I can't send email because the connection to the server on port 25 timed out". You may want to take a look at them in case there is something there that applies to you. Something that usually works is changing the outgoing server port to 587 instead of 25.
