Q: iOS 8.1 : copy and paste still not working normally

I can understand people being reluctant to install an app as a solution. At least they know know, in case they get sick of waiting for Apple to fix it.

Have you ever thought of using keyboard shortcuts for your library of links?

The the reason I thought of that is that I just noticed my shortcuts are no longer working! I'm sure I used one this morning, so I'm wondering if this clipboard app has caused this. Anyone else got the problem?

I tried deleting the app, but it didn't fix it. I can confirm though that deleting and reinstalling does clear the history, although oddly there was still one entry remaining.

i have been experiencing the same problem. Here is my two cents....take your iPad 2 and throw it out the window. F Apple and F 8.1.

I didn't realized you added to your post. I tried using keyboard shortcuts but everytime I tapped p I got press and hold the home and power button etc. flashed on the screen so I turned it off. I don't think the clipboard app caused the problems with your keyboard shortcuts because a number of other people reported having problems with the shotcuts.

I still don't met with this problem. And, My clipboard app is not have special trick to work. It is using iOS function usually.

I think this issue is a bug of clipboard or the Copy/Cut/Paste menu in iOS 8.

I had the same problem, then I got this solution:

Back up  device + Factory reset + Restore = Copy / Paste works again.

(Beta testers are encouraged to always do a clean install after a beta period when the official release comes. Shame on me!)

I want to copy a few lines from a website and paste them into a text message. I tried doing the copy command three times, then pasted, but it didn't work. I have no "select all" option for the webpage.

This solved my problem!

Hi Diane ..

Tap Settings > Safari then tap to Clear History and Website Data

Then reset the device.

Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

Then open Safari and try to copy / paste.

TThanks for the app,and for joining this thread! I think that the ability to delete the copy history inside the app is a critical one.

How do you know thts it's a secure app? Could it be sending keystrokes off to the company, ike passwords and bank card numbers?

I have the exact same issue since moving to iOS 8 using a 16 GB iPad Mini 2012. Copy & Paste doesn't seem to recall what I have copied on the clipboard. Today I now find that Siri isn't working either. I've done a factory reset and still no response form Siri.
