Aug 25, 2015 4:21 PM in response to ossa128by Black_Hartz,I have the iPhone 6 plus and I still have to deal with blurry camera quality. However my phone is on the camera recall list to get my camera lens replaced. I feel it will just be identical quality or something else might Happen due to this fix. I say grab the new galaxy 6 since Samsung always had the best camera quality better then Apple. No comparison

Aug 28, 2015 12:28 PM in response to oneZer01by smm.shadow,I have the same situation. Do we need to get this isight camera replaced if we are eligible even though we are not having any focus issues?
-
Aug 28, 2015 12:56 PM in response to smm.shadowby deggie,No, the program runs for at least 3 years but if you had the problem it would have shown itself by now. They will not replace the camera unless your are having a focus problem.

Sep 4, 2015 1:30 PM in response to mordzyUKby josé mfromcaba,The program is in effect BUT what about those (like me) who have a defective camera with a 1 year warranty and do not qualify for the serial number units that Apple discretionally has chosen as with defective iSight cameras. Of course Apple cannot say that ALL cameras are or could potentially be defective though I believe should´ve been more straight forward and provide for those who can present same problems outside their estimated wrongful doing.
Anybody in this situation?
Thanks!

Sep 4, 2015 5:27 PM in response to deggieby josé mfromcaba,I hope so Deggie!
I am totally ****** off with this matter! Paid over US 1,000 for the phone in London and now can´t get any pictures right. And you know what?
There´s no authorized service provider in my country no any Apple Store, thus the only way would be for me to bring the phone to a neighbor country and see whether they can provide for the repair...
Thanks for the reply!

Sep 15, 2015 2:26 AM in response to oneZer01by Niceguys,Had my phone replaced as part of iSight camera replacement program, the phone I received is supposed to be new but the serial number shows that the phone is 6 months old, with the high demand for 6 plus, I doubt the phone is new and set on a shelf for 6 months, also the battery is draining really fast and nothing changed in terms of the camera blurring issue. Anyone had similar experience?

Sep 15, 2015 3:18 AM in response to Niceguysby deggie,No, the phone is supposed to be a service replacement unit which may be new or may be refurbished.

Oct 12, 2015 7:07 AM in response to oneZer01by mordzyUK,Ive had my phone repaired and replaced with no quibbles twice. yet today its doing it again. I thought the recall / replacement was for an improved isight part. if it is its not fixing the issue.

This is UNBELIEVABLE!
I sent my iphone for iSight Camera replacement two week ago to New York Grand Central Store and it just came back with exactly the same blurry problem!!!
How can that happen?
They supposedly replaced the camera for a new one, haven´t they tried it out for proper functioning before sending it back?
Please, can anybody explain this to me?
I will make a huge complain though but what if I get a second broken camera as it has happened before to other people?
Is it a problem of the camera or the phone itself?
I do not know what to do.
I am an Apple fan, but this really doesn´t seem to be the best I can expect from Apple!

Oct 12, 2015 7:55 AM in response to josé mfromcababy mordzyUK,To be honest i can't fault apples service. I can only imagine the pain id get from any other large retailer with a fault. The first time in store they also diagnosed a wifi fault so just swapped my phone. After a week or two that developed the same fault so i went in to the store. I was told that this time I should have the part fixed as it was different to the original and would correct the issue. The girl told me it would be 45 minutes so I did a bit of shopping then collected it all fixed.
Unfortunately its doing it again so i can only assume that its not a new component. and its something I'm doing to cause it. I have a call scheduled from tech support tomorrow so will update the thread.

Oct 12, 2015 8:07 AM in response to mordzyUKby josé mfromcaba,You cannot fault the service? Who then?
This is not something we´re doing wrong!
Apple ordered an "official replacement program" exactly for this problem, they exchanged the camera accordingly and it is still malfunctioning!!!
No excuses whatsoever. They must provide for a solution NOW.
