Dec 2, 2015 7:57 PM in response to AlanJLby debbiedesigns,My iPhone 6+ 64GB is just like yours--not wavy, but definitely seems to be stuck at a fixed focus of about 6"-8". The farther you get away from the subject, the blurrier the subject is. And it started doing this suddenly about two weeks ago. I have wiped my phone, reset it as a new phone, added NO apps, and it still does this. I've had to argue for two days, but, thankfully, Apple is now willing to replace my phone. (I would have gone to an Apple store, but the nearest one is four hours away.)

Jan 23, 2016 2:59 PM in response to oneZer01by SykeMaunders,FIXED!!
Finally found the reason why the stabilizer was acting as if it just downed a bottle of Jack Daniels. After my camera went on my first iPhone 6 plus, apple was good enough to send me a new one. After about a month the camera started doing the same exact thing, it had jumped off the wagon once again. Being a mechanical engineer and a stubborn man I decided to fix it myself. Got on Amazon, bought a replacement and installed it, all was good for about a week and here again the camera started acting white girl drunk.
I decide to take it apart once again and investigate, after close inspection there was small metal fragments stuck to the camera housing. Intrigued I looked at my other original camera that I had swapped out for the one from amazon and that too had metal fragments on it. Being that I work in the automotive industry I am around metal and machining every day. The stabilizer in your phone uses electromagnets and metal build up on the housing will effect proper functionality of your camera. Long story short after cleaning the housing on both cameras they operated like new! To say the least I was pumped and felt the need to share this information with anyone having similar issues. I'm not too sure how these forums work but if you have any questions let me know, good luck!

Jun 9, 2016 2:53 PM in response to oneZer01by Phagun Oswal,I had this problem too. Unfortunately the only thing that worked for me was to take it to the Apple Store and they replaced it seeing that it was a peculiar problem on an otherwise mint condition phone. It seemed like its a known issue and they didn't question me once about it. I feel that something in the focusing motor or in the lens assembly comes dislodged after which it then refuses to focus and stays stuck at one focal length. Wish I had another answer but I tried everything under the sun and nothing worked apart from just getting the darn thing replaced.

Jul 14, 2016 5:17 PM in response to oneZer01by captk9,Had same issue with rear facing camera. it also did not matter what camera / video app I used. My phone was out of warranty so I called local shop. I explained issue and they said bring it in and I would be fixed in 30 min and only 60 plus tax and I was good as new.
