Why is there no Ogg Vorbis support for iTunes?
This is a very important issue. Soo many people use the Ogg Vorbis codec and prefer it to AAC and MP3 - especially people like me (coming from a Windows background). Ogg is automatically surround sound and has better quality compared to both MP3 and AAC, in my opinion (please don't start a debate about the quality of codecs!).
Furthermore, people constantly create plugins for Ogg playback in Itunes... but this isn't enough. I constantly have problems with this. For one, not being able to import the CD through Itunes means my CD cover artwork will not show up or work correctly. And when I try to share my music over a network it never shows up!
As Ogg Vorbis is open source I am quite suprised that Apple hasn't taken advantage of it's amazing capabilities. I'm sure it wouldn't be very hard to even integrate Ogg into iPod support, as well. Rockbox and iPod Linux have both done it... how much better could Apple do it.
Thank you for reading this little rant. Please contribute to it if you agree and help this issue be noticed by Apple. And for any Apple devs out there reading this - please thoughtfully consider implementing the ogg vorbis codec into the next update of iTunes. And please tell us when we can expect this to happen.
I would really appreciate this! I love Ogg Vorbis!

P.S. Apple stop telling us what we want - listen to what we want and give it us. The sooner the better.
