Oct 21, 2014 9:11 AM in response to nijinskiby pixelelated,★HelpfulI'm also having this problem. If I make a change on iOS 8.1 it is reflected in my iTunes library on my MacBook Pro, but changes from iTunes 12.0.1 are not appearing on my iPhone 5 running iOS 8.1.

Oct 21, 2014 11:55 AM in response to pixelelatedby nijinski, mmmmmmm I've heard more people, the issue exists.
Do you think it's related more to iTunes 12.0.1 than to iOS 8.1?
I'm not sure about it....I've added a couple of songs using 12.0.1 on a MacBookPro and I had them on my other Macs running the save version of iTunes.
I have to try using an other Mac with a previous version of iTunes and then I'll let you know.
thanks for replying!!!

Oct 21, 2014 8:14 PM in response to nijinskiby pixelelated,I tried accessing "Music" on my iPad mini running 8.0.2, and confirmed that changes from iTunes worked fine, so the problem specifically seems to be with iTunes Match.

Oct 22, 2014 3:27 AM in response to pixelelatedby nijinski,I guess I've found a workaround.
The issue seems to be just with enabling Match with iOS 8.1
I reverted to 8.0.2, restored my backup, enabled Match and then updated OTA to 8.1 with Match already on and running
It now works perfectly again....I can see all changes made, new songs, lyrics and so.
My only doubt is what happens if you have to disable iTunes Match and enabled it again....I'll try that too!
I suggest you do that same, revert to 8.0.2 and then update.

Nov 1, 2014 7:51 PM in response to nijinskiby Tomn94,Same here. The switch in Settings › Music doesn’t work on iOS 8.1.
So I can’t use iTunes Match…

Dec 19, 2014 7:33 AM in response to nijinskiby bios,I've had this issue since iOS 8. From what I can tell, this issue is isolated to iOS 8; not an iTunes issue or a specific iOS device issue.
Here's my evidence to support that:
1. I have never, ever had this issue with iTunes Match, and I've used the service since it was introduced. The issue started when I first updated to iOS 8 on my iPhone 5.
2. I then purchased an iPhone 6 Plus. Issue persists
3. I then decided to switch out my 6 Plus for a 6. Issue persists.
4. Here's the kicker: I kept my 3rd generation iPad on iOS 7.1.2. If I add music to iTunes Match, it immediately appears on my iPad.
I've tried several workarounds in an attempt to fix it: Airplane Mode toggle, reboot, restore/setup as new.
I've only found one solution, and it works every time. Turn off iTunes Match on my iPhone, turn it back on, and voila, my newly added music will appear. Very inconvenient though, as this process deletes any of the songs I previously downloaded to my iPhone via iTunes Match.

Feb 1, 2015 5:40 AM in response to nijinskiby eskor25,I'm having similar problem. For about three weeks now updates on the iTunes Library on my PC are not syncing with or updating on my iphone even though iTunes Match is ON on both my laptop and iphone. I've switched on and off iTunes match on the phone several times to no effect. When I go to another laptop and open iTunes there I will see the updates from iTunes, but on my phone no update. Any one know a way out of this?
iPhone 4S, iOS 8.1.3

Feb 14, 2015 9:27 AM in response to eskor25by Chava Perez,I had this exact same issue. Tried everything, and the only thing that worked was restoring my iPhone from iTunes. Just create a back up copy in your computer and restore, after that I worked perfectly for me again.
